Delve3D

Your table, built in three dimensions.

Delve3D turns a D&D session into a living diorama. The DM builds the scenes, players roll on D&D Beyond, and everyone watches it happen in the world.

Scenes from the table

Every picture here is a real Delve3D scene, captured in the game as players see it.

How a campaign comes together

Three layers, each with its own button and colour in the game, so the book version of a scene never gets mixed up with what one group did to it.

Scene Library

Standalone scenes, filed by biome: towns, caves, swamps, skies, etc. Leverage a massive asset library, bestiary and scene generation tools. Then save them for use in your campaigns.

Example: Towns › Vallenmoor Village

Campaign Module

Save collections of your scenes into one campaign module, just like how D&D adventures present themselves. Copy scenes in from the library and arrange them into campaign sections.

Example: Campaign Module: The Crimson Count › Section: Hollowmere Manor › Scene: The Cellars

Playthrough

One group's run through your DM's campaign module. Every scene they visit keeps what they did: moved NPCs, dead monsters, and more.

Example: The Crimson Count, Fall 2026

Before your first session

Players do the first three steps before their first session, step four at it, and step five every session after.

Step 1 · your character

Make your hero on D&D Beyond

Build your character sheet, and once you are in your Delve3D session, Delve3D automatically reads your stats and recognizes your rolls!

Then make the sheet Public, so Delve3D and your DM can open it:

  1. Open your character on D&D Beyond and click Edit to go to the character builder.
  2. On the Home tab, open Character Preferences.
  3. Set Character Privacy to Public.
Step 2 · your dice

Install Beyond20

Install Beyond20 so your D&D Beyond rolls connect and land at the Delve3D table.

Step 3 · your browser

Let Beyond20 reach Delve3D

Do this once on each browser you play from, so your rolls arrive at the table.

https://delve3d.com/*
  1. Click the Beyond20 icon in your browser's toolbar and open its Options.
  2. In the Advanced options, find List of custom domains to load Beyond20.
  3. Paste the line above on a line of its own and press Apply.
  4. Accept your browser's permission prompt, then reload Delve3D.
Step 4 · your first session

Join with your DM's code

Your DM gives each group a join code for its playthrough. It looks like GRIM-7Q4K.

  1. Type it in the Player box at the top of this page and press Join.
  2. Open your D&D Beyond sheet in another tab and click any roll on it, such as an ability check. Your hero walks into the scene, already yours, with your stats.
  3. Open the person icon at the top left and look in At the table, under the list of people. Your link for next session is there: press Copy. That is your personal link: bookmark it. (Your DM can also send it to you.)
Step 5 · every session after

Open your personal link

Open your personal link instead of typing the code. You come back as yourself, and your hero is handed straight back to you, with your D&D Beyond sheet already loaded in My sheet.

There is nothing to import again. Rolling from your sheet only refreshes your hero; it never makes a second one.

Your link is yours alone, so do not share it. If your DM makes a new join code, the old link stops working: copy your link again from At the table.
